Abstract:This study investigates the emergence and growth of ride-sharing applications in Kathmandu, Nepal, highlighting challenges such as safety concerns and regulatory issues. It focuses on economic, social, technological, and environmental factors influencing their adoption, considering variables like income, education, smartphone ownership, and cultural aspects in the local context. The research aims to provide insights into the determinants behind the proliferation of ride-sharing services in Kathmandu.
